Kingdom of Fife and St Andrews town
Originally known as Kingdom of Fife, Fife is a council area of Scotland situated between the Firth of Tay and the Firth of Forth. Included in Fife are St Andrews, a historical town of Scotland and the hometown of golf, and the University of St Andrews, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe.
St Andrews is a former royal burgh situated between Dundee and Edinburgh on the east coast of Fife. There are many visitors travelling to St Andrews for courses which are ranked among the finest in the world. St Andrews is also famous for its sandy beaches and loveliness of the town.
