Working part-time:
For part-time job, students normally take one/ two months to find a job,especially those whose communication skills is not as strong. Therefore,for students who want to find a job as soon as possible, we suggests that they should practice their communication skills to be equivalent to an intermediate level.
Preparation of English before going to Scotland:
For students whose objective to go study English abroad
is to improve their communication skills, McDucation
always suggest that you should take an English course
in Thailand for preparation. The reason to do this is:
- It is requirement for visa application to have a certificate indicating the preparation you have done before going to UK
- From our experience, compared to students who is a beginner in English, students who has some background improve very fast within one or two months. Since our objective is to help students to improve their English level in the mot effective methods, we encourage students to go abroad to practice their communication skills but not their basic skills such as grammar; although grammar will be taught by all English schools. This will save the students both money and time.Consult our education consultant about your study plan.
Living expenses in Scotland:

Insurance:
McDucation strongly recommend that each student take out a comprehensive insurance package when they make their reservation to attend their course. Coverage includes medical expenses including repatriation costs, personal accident and injury benefit, loss of personal possessions and luggage, cancellation of the trip or cutting the duration of the trip due to serious injury or illness to the student or a relative, personal liability, legal fees, the refund of course fees due to illness or serious injury to the student or to a relative making it necessary for the student to cancel or return home.
